The first contact with jewellery for Savvas Kontos and Maria Kakou was in 1982 at Athens Goldsmiths
College. Their studies offered the perfect opportunity to combine their artistic flair and technical skill with
their entrepreneurial thinking. As a result, their first jewellery shop was opened in Athens
In 1992, they transferred their business to the island of Zakynthos, where they
have established a successful and well-respected workshop and store.
